mACH System Extends Processing Deadline

SunCorpís mACH System volume continues to grow as more credit unions expand their ACH origination services. To meet the additional demand, SunCorp has added one additional hour to the processing window for submitting origination and return entry files. The extended deadline will also allow credit unions to offer more funds transfer services to members into the late afternoon.

The new deadline for submitting entries via the mACH System is:

Remember to submit, verify, and authorize/send all your ACH return and origination entries before the deadline to ensure that they are processed for next day posting and settlement.

Another recent system enhancement is the new Monthly Summary Report. The report summarizes all your ACH origination and receipt activity during the previous month. Expect the report to be available on the third business day of each month from the main reports section.

We are also exploring more enhancements to the mACH System to help credit unions use the system more efficiently, and to meet increasing origination needs from your members.

As a reminder, SunCorp extended the operating hours and deadlines last year for our other payment services. The table below reflects the current times.

Expanded Check Deposit Processing Options

SunCorp has been processing check image deposits for many years via the SunCapture branch capture system. More recently, credit unions have been using SunCorpís image processing services for many other check deposit needs including teller, merchant, ATM, and mobile capture files from third party vendors. Credit unions are taking advantage of our experienced and reliable deposit processing services which are normally more cost effective and efficient than other processing options.
