SunCorp is pleased to announce the addition of 26 new member credit unions from the Western states during the first four months of 2012. The new SunCorp members, including 19 from California, repeatedly cite excellent personal service, an established Western presence, SunCorp’s strong financial position, and credible management team as reasons for joining.
“We are so happy to have added all of these new members from the West and we welcome them to SunCorp,” said Thomas R. Graham, President and CEO. “Our member-focused Business Development and Implementation staff has done a great job receiving and serving our newest members.”
SunCorp successfully transitioned these new members from Western Bridge Corporate very quickly, with an average conversion time of 38 business days, including three conversions that were completed in less than 30 business days. SunCorp is adapting to meet the needs of these new members, including extending service hours and transaction deadlines to better serve those in the Pacific Time Zone. SunCorp also opened new relationships with Western vault and courier providers to serve the coin and currency needs of credit union members.
“We’ve been through an awful lot of conversions in just the last year, and this is the very best one we’ve done to date,” said Shon Wellborn, President and CEO of Community Credit Union of Southern Humboldt in Garberville, CA. “Everyone at SunCorp was unbelievably helpful and friendly.”
