Access Check Processing Expertise at SunCorp

Last month, we started this series of articles to introduce you to some of the staff expertise here at SunCorp.  We encourage you to use these experts as resources, and contact them with questions or for advice on the daily operations at your credit union. 

This month, we have profiled just two of the experts in our Check Processing department.  Remember that all of our experts are supported by many others on our staff working behind the scenes to provide superior service to our members.

nan montyNan Harmon is probably best known to many credit unions as the main contact and expert on our SunCapture branch capture system.  She has worked in many check processing roles for more than 20 years, and joined SunCorp in 2004 as our Check Processing Manager.  As the check collection process moved from paper to image-based methods, Nan spearheaded efforts at SunCorp to develop and implement our branch capture solution beginning in late 2007.

As a Senior Product Support Analyst, she provides training, installation, and support to the many credit unions now using SunCapture to automate the check collection process.  Nan works with our other Product Support Analyst, Amanda Vieregger, to ensure that credit unions receive end-to-end branch capture support from contract signing to implementation to efficient, ongoing operations.  You can contact Nan or Amanda via our Branch Capture Support line at 1-877-786-2677 extension 4750.

Monty Seeger joined SunCorp in 2007 to assume the Check Processing Manager role, as Nan Harmon transitioned to the new branch capture project.  Monty has a long history in the industry, starting in 1984 in various check processing projects with service providers for commercial banks, and working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Denver from 1994 until 2006.  At the Federal Reserve, he managed the check operations for 9 years and the cash operations for 3 years. 

At SunCorp, Monty is responsible for managing the overall check processing operations.  In addition to supervising the staff, he handles our relationship with processing software vendors and check processing exchange networks such as the Federal Reserve and Endpoint Exchange.  He can be reached at mseeger@suncorp.coop.

Nan and Monty work with a team of check processing and information technology professionals at SunCorp.  Together, they strive to deliver a comprehensive and reliable package of check processing services.  As the check world undergoes revolutionary changes from paper-based to image-based processing, our SunCorp team is dedicated to leading credit unions through the transition.
